The event will be held to propose Mixed Use Development sites located in boisterous areas in the heart of Lusaka. The proposed Mixed Use Development is a new development and will house retail line shops with an anchor shop and office space within the annex buildings.

The Luapula Provincial Administration working in conjunction with the Ministry of National Development Planning, Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Tourism and Arts, the Zambia Development Agency and the Zambia Tourism Agency partnered to host The Luapula Expo- 2017 which was a five (5) day economic and investment tour of Luapula Province, from the 26th to 31st July 2017. The Expo was held under the theme “Linking Investors to Luapula Province to unlock the Economic Potential”.
His Excellency Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia officially graced this important Expo, which was poised to be a permanent feature on the annual Zambian Corporate Investment calendar.
The Zamfert Open Day was a two day event held at the newly commissioned Zambian Fertilizers Ltd Blending Plant. The event was an exhibition and site tour where the state of the art blending plant was officially commissioned by the Guest of Honour, Her Excellency the Vice President of Zambia, Mrs Inonge Wina. The Lusaka Minister, Japhen Mwakalombe and the Minister of Commerce, Margret Mwanakatwe were also be in attendance.
The theme of the event was “CONTRIBUTING TO ZAMBIA’S AGRICULTURAL VALUE CHAIN.”
The event brought together decision-makers, financiers, policy makers and captains of industry in Agribusiness as pertinent to the cause. The benefits of the blending plant have positive effects on the entire nation.
The Ease of Doing Business Initiative (EDBI) The EDBI Conference is a peer-to-peer learning event requested by African countries and supported by the World Bank Group, to facilitate knowledge sharing on Doing Business reforms.
The 2017 EDBI Conference was hosted by the Government of Zambia between May 15th and May 19th 2017 at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone, Zambia.

The investment opportunities presented at the investors’ conference held at David Livingstone Safari Lodge, Livingstone – Zambia on the 30th of March 2017. The 2400MW BGHES, a regional project, is located on the Zambezi River 54km downstream of the Victoria Falls. The scheme will on average generate 10,215 GWh annually at a very competitive unit generating cost.
